We have had this tree for almost a year, so I am confident in my 5☆ review. The tree arrived in a timely manner, was well packaged and pristine upon receipt. The components are real wood, gorgeous smooth and well machined. The cloth components are fluffy and best of all removable and machine washable!! The rope used is so sturdy in comparison to normal cheap stuff on our other trees that was destroyed in seconds. A year later and it barely shows any wear, and we have 3 cats. It was definitely worth the price.
I wanted a cat tree that would look nice in the living room, not cheesy or cheap looking; or cheaply made so I would need to replace in a year or two. I have been looking for almost a year now, the night I found Happy Polly was just looking one last time. The Happy Polly site came up finally in Google and I was hooked, all of the cat stuff is just so cute. This is a bad website if you have money burning a hole in your pocket. I could easily spend a $1000 dollars. My cats use this tree everyday for most of the day. It went together in about an hour, but I had other stuff going on too. The tree is very sturdy and well made, it's not particle board the wood is real. The toys it came with didn't have directions, I guess I figured it out, However my baby kitty has just killed both toys. I got some new stuff to try to fix them. I would highly recommend this cat tree.
Our kitty girls LOVE this tree, and it is beautiful as a furniture item as well. Removing one star as the round wooden platform + screw in scratchers has gotten wobbly and less sturdy with use. However, it was fixed pretty easily with some super glue. Just something to watch for! Otherwise fantastic and worth the price point 100%.
