Paws and Fish Cat Wheel

Tried to buy a cat wheel for my fat cat on H&P website. It was a good experience. The sturdy and firm base allows the wheel to spin smoothly without wobbling. The addition of the silent bearings is a fantastic touch – the wheel operates silently, without any annoying noises that could startle my cat or disrupt the peace of the house.

If this review were only about the company's customer service, I would have given a rating of 5. I ordered the Paws and Fish cat wheel, the white version, a bit reluctantly since I didn't think it would be large enough (and was told there was no bigger size), but I found a review that gave it a great rating and it looked really cute and was said to be well made, really quiet, and already put together. After waiting for 2 months to receive it (these are shipped from China), my wheel arrived badly damaged in quite a few places and was not usable. Considering the distance it had to go (shipped to WI, U.S.) and that it was already put together, the packaging materials used were not nearly sufficient, nor was the box marked 'Fragile' or anything. I sent pictures of the damage to Happy & Polly and they immediately started a new shipment to send me a new one, no questions asked. So, then I waited a bit shorter than 2 more months and finally received another new wheel, this time in great shape. I waited several months to write this review as I was hoping and hoping I could train my 8 lb cat to use it as intended. Sadly she has not. If you are lucky enough to get one that survives the shipping process, I feel it is a great design and well made. But I cannot possibly give a good review of this product when it does not work as intended. My cat is 5 years old and not overweight, but the wheel is just WAY TOO SMALL. I was afraid of this before I ordered, and I see now that others have found the same issue to be true. Plus, my cat really likes to run when she gets in the mood, so I really thought she would like the wheel. She does like to sit in it, but I have tried a laser light and treats and everything I could think of, and she will not even walk on the wheel on her own. This completely defeats the purpose of it for me, and I was SO excited about this wheel as I searched and searched the internet before choosing this one. Now I have 2 of these wheels and I have no idea what I am going to do with them as they do take up space and don't serve the purpose at all. It makes me very sad to have to give this review but I hope it will help others and the company will strive to test out their products more before selling them to the public.

This can't really be a review since the wheel I wanted wasn't available to purchase...will you be getting the larger wheel in stock any time?

I wish he could have a longer stride when running (a bit larger of a wheel). Don’t get me wrong, it is cute that he pulls down high onto the sides like he’s spinning the wheel in The Price is Right 😂 ⬇️🫷🫲, but I don't think he’s getting a full stretch and it looks frustrating.
