So for starters my cat is a capital B. If you also have a capital B type cat. You may want to get the same things I have that's worked great thus far. A water/pee proof mat to put under the box in case of leakage. How does she manage to pee in such a way for it to leak down the sides? The sides have curved lips to block just that thing from happening. She manages it somehow. So I just put the villa on a pee proof litter matt and voila. She also hates doors. So I didn't put the little door on. I like it has a top exit because she also doesn't like covered boxes but I was desperate to not have an exposed cat box on my main floor. The pull out bottom works great, the litter scoop that comes with is very slippery though. On one hand it doesn't stick to the scoop, on the other I've made some messes when it slides off unexpectedly. But it hooks to the side of the box very conveniently. The plastic/material is tough stuff and also is slippy so pee clumps can't crust onto the bottom or sides. Aesthetically I love it. It's not her favorite box (her favored box is the highest use) but that's to be expected since she doesn't like covered boxes. It's just a place she can go on my main floor if she needs to. She's relatively small about 11lbs, but she doesn't like confined spaces. She fits in the box, and likes the extra exit option.
