It hasn't been a weak yet and it leaked. The ceramic is good quality, but the build quality is not that great.

Great cat drinking fountain. This one is built much better than others I've bought in the past. This one is going to last and not have to be replaced. The different fountain spout options are nice too. Much less running noise with this one than others I've owned.
