I'll start off by saying I love the unique Happy and Polly cat trees and cat beds, so I was hoping for similar whimsy in the surprise box. I loved that it came wrapped like a present, and that the box turns into a hidey-hole scratcher. My smallest cat immediately claimed that as his hideout. Awesome use of packaging.
But inside, the only "whimsy" was the cute goldfish wand. My box included 2 wands (goldfish and Halloween pumpkin), a Halloween pumpkin stuffed toy, 2 nail clippers, 2 finger hand things, 3 collars (I think....1 safety collar with a red velvet bow, 1 with a necklace clasp and large bell, 1 floral tutu bib), 1 enamel pin of a cat tree, glasses, a silicone brush, and a cat bowl. And my scratch ticket was for a cloud food mat. I was disappointed with the variety and quality, and overall, I don't feel that it was a good value, unfortunately. We'll likely use the clippers, goldfish wand, and cat bowl, but I'll offer up the rest to friends and family.

Overall the items in the box were mostly cheaper quality items (which I expected) that will be coming straight to my animal shelter with me. The box itself however is probably the best thing my cats have ever seen. They both live inside this box and are constantly scratching the scratcher at the bottom. Overall, in typical cat fashion, they only care about the packaging! But it's cute for sure 😀
