We have almost a dozen cats, rescues. Out of those, 7 have encountered this tree. We have tried to get them to use it but all of them are afraid of it, not just unsure about it, even though they watched me assemble it. The only part they interact with is the little toy wand thing built into the base, and the sisal on the tallest wooden support beam. I'm only giving it 3ā because of the construction quality, but the purpose of a cat tree is to be appealing to cats.
However, it does creak quite a lot just from being moved around by the poles so I'm not sure how the acrylic "flowers" are supposed to hold adult cats or support being jumped on by the rims. I'm assuming they must've gotten a lot of private complaints like this for the tree to have been $49.99 randomly (not during a holiday), which is when I snagged it. It's very unfortunate as my cats love the bowl parts of other cat trees and I thought they would like this too. Live and learn I guess.
