As I wrote on another Tofu Litter review, I absolutely love this litter, and so do my cats!
This was an excellent deal, and i definitely did not pass this up. It came in a very timely manner, and I just love the fact that I am definitely vacuuming less overall, since I have been so busy this holiday season. Before, with my old grass litter, I would vacuum like 3 times a week at least after scooping the litter boxes, because even though it was low tracking around the litter box, it would stick in my the cats’ paws, and would wind up slowly around the house. But with the tofu litter, it rarely tracks past the litter box areas, and if it does, it’s more likely that one of my cats decided to play with a piece of litter around the floor, rather than getting stuck in their paws. When I mop, my floor are less dirty in comparison than before this litter!

I love the scent when I pour fresh litter in the box, and the odor control is great! (Of course, you can still smell when your cat takes a fresh poo, but it’s less overwhelming, and i definitely don’t smell the litterbox if I go beyond a couple days of forgetting to scoop it.) The only time I now use a deodorizer is when the litter is around 3 weeks to a month old and doesn’t smell as fresh and clean after scooping the litter boxes.

Overall, the best litter on the market, and worth the price, especially if you buy on subscription, because I’m now buying litter less frequently than I was before! Also, Happy & Polly donates a bag of litter to animal shelters with every litter purchase - love a company that gives back to communities that rescue and care for cats.

I have always avoided purchasing traditional clay litter for my cats, to avoid respiratory issues (for both myself & them) and had bought an eco-friendly grass cat litter. Even though there was little dust when pouring or shifting through the litter, the tracking of the small particles of litter as soon as my kitties were finished using the cat box was a mild annoyance around the house. I tried this litter, and to my surprise, my cats prefer this litter a lot more because they don't get little specks of litter in their paws that track everywhere, & I think the texture of this was nicer for them to stand on. Plus, it smells nice, which I appreciate.

It took them about a month - 6 weeks to transition from using the old type of litter, to mixing the two litters together (because I needed to use the rest of my old litter + to help them adjust to the new litter), to now where they only use this type of litter.

It clumps well, and quickly, but takes some time to "harden" solidly after it initially clumps when coming in contact with cat urine, so if you scoop it immediate after your cat uses the box, it will be clumped but a little soft against the scooper. I have one cat that always uses the litterbox when I am cleaning it, and I have always immediately scooped her business, and is always initially a soft clump of litter.

It is a small bag that is much lighter to pick up and carry, which both I and my mailman who delivers this litter appreciates, & it gets delivered quickly to my door. It is lasting longer in terms of when I have to replace the litter and refill the cat boxes, which means I get more time/use out of the litter before needing to fully replace. I do have to buy multiple bags, because I have two extra large cat litter boxes, so I buy enough to make sure both litterboxes are adequately filled. I'm now considering going on the subscription plan to get it delivered regularly and get a discount at the same time. Oh, and one of the best parts about purchasing this litter is that Happy & Polly donates 1 lb of litter for every order! Overall, I + my kitties are very pleased with this litter! :)

This tofu litter has been a game changer! Not only is there no odor at all but I can also flush it! It is the best change for my cat but also myself!
